Jon Roberton’s early art training included spending time in Sausalito, California studying under French artist Milo Artisan. Jon grew up in the Pacific Northwest and attended Western Washington University in Bellingham. After college, Jon moved to southern California and continued his art career. Having several one-man shows a year, his artwork hung in some of the fine galleries of the area. In 1989, Jon returned to live in the state of Washington.
Jon's subject matter ranges from nature, people, ocean and landscapes, to impressionistic and abstract styles. With bold use of color and images his artwork inspires emotion. Jon works in acrylics, egg tempera, oils, watercolor and pen and ink. Jon has completed over 50 limited editions original lithographs, etchings and silkscreens. Jon’s artwork is owned by collectors throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.
